Hey! Nice to meet you.
I’d like to thank you for visiting my website. My hope is that through my doodles and designs you can get to know who you’re working with.
Simply put, I’m a renaissance man based in Clarksville, Tennessee who adores people and loves creating beautiful things.
My Creative Journey
The Artist
My first drawing was of Gary the snail–simple, proud work. Feedback was mixed, but warm. A friend even suggested I do Squidward next, and so I did. This first commission at age six or so sparked a flame that never ceased.
The Writer
As movies, video games and especially novels inspired me, I began recreating, then reimagining my favorite characters in illustration. Silent companions to a lonely only-child–original characters took shape in my imagination and sketchbooks. Soon, I began to pen life into them through my own stories.
The Musician
I read ceaselessly, but in my teenage years I noticed a lack. I sought connection, a sense of belonging and good friends. Music was the answer. Enamored with the indie scene, I found that where art and writing connected me to my soul, music bridged me to others’. But the real love affair began with a guitar trade at fifteen when I began to teach myself how to play.
The Poet
As I studied Literature and design in college I burgeoned with creative output: oil paintings, love songs, a terrible sci-fi novel. My work’s quality steadily improved and yet, something was missing. It lacked depth, a soul. Poetry became my beacon. Great poets–Auden, Whitman, Poe–unveiled deeper understandings of beauty, elevating all of my creations.
The Jack
After college, like many creatives, I wandered in search of fulfilling work. Eventually, a friend suggested I learn to write code. Always seeking new skills and knowledge, I dove in and quickly felt the embers of a new passion. Each problem was a puzzle, each solution a triumph, and the process a harmony of logic and creativity. Blending this with my artistic skill in design set me on a path that finally felt right. Web Designer and Developer–a perfect fit.

My Philosophy
Art, I learned, is about action and reflection. In action we layer paint, sketch scenes, write lines of code. In reflection we step back, seeking the broader narrative. It’s a dance–too much time in one state and you lose balance. The challenge is finding rhythm and harmony. That is where greatness blooms.
This principle guides my work and my life. In action, I learn, work, and create. In reflection, I grow and evolve. The result is work never stagnant, always fresh and innovative, as well as a life spent ever learning and growing.
