Styled Calendar — Overview
This project is a simple but powerful improvement to Styled Calendar’s online presence.
Styled Calendar is the most accessible and flexible calendar embedding plugin available. Its logo needed to reflect that.
We started with a short list of highlight features–things that set Styled Calendar apart, and above, their competitors.

From there, I set out to design a logo that embodies these concepts in a sleek and modern style, while working within the established color scheme and design principles.
The challenge of this project was presenting all of the information we thought necessary in a short, thumbnail sized, looping animation with a very limited file-size (1 megabyte).
I condensed our best selling points into a fourteen second animation loop for the WordPress plugin repository.
The goal was to increase conversions on WordPress. Now, with a quality animation quickly displaying what sets Styled Calendar apart from its competitors, their presentation on the platform is miles ahead of other plugins.
